How to Make a Balloon Dog
If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to add some fun and whimsy to your home decor, you’ll love these balloon dog tutorials! Not only are they easy to do, but they can be customized to fit any personality or style.
To make your own balloon dog, start by filling a large balloon with air. Once the balloon is inflated, use a sharp knife or scissors to cut off the bottom of the balloon so that it is slightly smaller in diameter than the top of the ballon. Then, using a straw, blow into the open end of the ballon until it has almost doubled in size. Finally, tie a piece of string around the top of the balloon so that it hangs down like a collar.
For this tutorial, we’ve chosen to make a basic brown balloon dog. However, feel free to customize your creation however you like – there are plenty of variations available online (and even in some of our favorite stores), so have fun trying them all out!
How to Make a Bow Tie
Making a bow tie is a simple and easy DIY project that can be completed in just a few minutes. All you need are some supplies, namely a piece of fabric, some lace, and a bow-making tool. Here’s how to do it:
1. Start by cutting the fabric into the desired shape. For this tutorial, we’ll be using a square piece of fabric measuring 18 inches wide by 18 inches long.
2. Next, fold the fabric in half so that the long edges are touching. Make sure that the folded edge is on the inside of the square piece of fabric. Pin in place.
3. Take the bow-making tool and start looping one end of the lace around one side of the folded edge of the fabric. Then, loop it around again and tuck it underneath so that it forms an “x” shape (see image below). Do this all along one side of the folded edge of fabric (see image below).
4. Next, repeat steps 3 and 4 on the other side of the folded edge of fabric (see image below). Now you’ll have two “x” shapes made out of lace attached to each side of your bow tie template (see image below).
5. Now it’s time to start sewing everything together! Begin by sewing one “x” shape to one corner of your square piece of fabric (see image below). Then, sew another “x”

2. Hammer or nail the ends of the clothes hanger together with a small hammer or nail. Make sure to use enough force so that the wire is hammered down firmly into the nails.
3. Cut off any excess wire at each end of the clothes hanger with scissors.
4. Measure out 1 foot from one end of the wire and mark it with a ruler or straight edge. This will be where you will start cutting the wire.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 until all of the wire has been cut and measured out. You should have 6 pieces of wire measuring 1 foot in length each (total of 12 inches).
