In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in cherry cola concentrate and vanilla extract. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, stirring until just blended. 3. divide batter evenly among the prepared pans. 4. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centers comes out clean. Cool cakes on wire racks for 10 minutes before inverting onto them to cool completely. 5. Frost each cake with 1/3 cup of the cherry cola frosting (recipe follows), then top each cake with 1/3 cup of remaining frosting and serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
